The Ballad of Blueberry and Her Sister the Wail

Written by Gray on .

Sit down children, and I'll tell you a tale

Tell you the tale of the blueberry and the wail.

The story takes place, as many do

In the kingdom of Sharks hockey, in row 22.*

Six of them sat, in groups of 4 and 2

When the one leaned forward and caused the 4 to boo.

The wail reacted, shouting in shame

You'd think the people behind her may have called her a name.

But no, they were not overly crude. They just wanted her to "sit back, dude!"

"That's why the place it on the screen before games, you see"

"To people like you blocking the view of people like me."

"ALRIGHT!" she cried! "I get it, I do!"

"But I still think I should be able to lean, so I can see too!"

The row ahead of her was empty and clear,

Her argument's loss was soon to be near.

She slumped in her seat and pouted a bit,

Then she started to CRY, like a tired little twit.

She cried all period, and when she was done she took out her phone to text everyone.

"They know NOTHING of hockey!" she texted away

"They told me to sit back in these seats at this game for which I paid!"

She raged the whole evening, huffing and puffing,

Refusing to cheer when the Sharks did come a'rushing.

Eventually, seeing her sadness, the blueberry turned to the wail and asked, "Ice cream magic?"

The flitted off down the stairs, to the dipping dots booth,

And came back full prepared to drown their sorrows in half melted goop.

The moral of the story, which you should clearly see,

Is not to lean forward, lest your game ruined be.
