So Gray is out of town to the world of fun, sun, and in-law type relatives otherwise known as Florida. Sadly for me (but happily for you our dear reader), she was awesome enough to make the game day graphic so I don't get to search the internets for an awesome Blackhawk graphic.

If she hadn't made a comic, you'd have see this in the post. It's a damn shame.
There are many different angles to the game today, but the first is for the Sharks to forget the last time they played the Hawks. Wait they already played twice this year? Seriously? I already forgot that game. Let's hope the Sharks did too.
But Mina, shouldn't they let it fester in their minds so that they can avenge themselves of that terrible home loss?
Sure they can let it fester in their brains and try to avenge themselves, but I think it would just be easier to remember that they need to win games against the top teams in the conference. Cause in case you hadn't noticed, Chicago has as many points as the Sharks with more wins in fewer games. Trying for revenge can often lead to it's own problems, like letting the team get in your head or almost losing a duel with your mortal enemy. Don't believe me? Just ask Inigo Montoya.
Aside from trying to salvage the season series against the Hawks (who are already up 2-0 in case you hadn't noticed), there is the whole Brian Campbell vs. the Sharks fans thing, the Chicago has won 4 straight and 13 of their last 14 home games thing, the Sharks are coming off a game in Dallas last night while Chicago is at home and rested thing, the Oh dear God can we get some secondary scoring thing, and the shut your damn five-hole Nabby thing. (Maybe that last one is just me)
How is this whole game going to play out? Well you're going to have to tell me dear readers. With Gray out of town and it being my Grandmother's 90th birthday today (Happy Birthday Grandma!), we will turn to our secret weapon of mass awesomeness for the post game recap: Afro Puff. She'll be watching the game and making copious awesome observations while I try to check the hockey score for me and my brother without getting caught by my mom. (Oh crap, she reads this. Just kidding Mom ^_^)
Game starts at 5pm and you can catch is (so long as you don't have DirectTV) on Versus in HD or on TSN2 in HD for those of you north of the border. The rest of us lucky folks will get to listen to Dan and Jamie on 98.5 KFOX.
